Dr. Zirbel
Dr.Jani Zirbel graduated with the first class of Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and received her DVM degree in 1984. She is a member of the AVMA. Dr Z has two children, Johanna who graduated from MSU and is now an extension agent in eastern Montana and Jacob who is a freshman at MSU. Dr Z, Johanna, and Jacob have 4 dogs, 3 cats, and 4 horses. For the past 30+ years, Dr Z has worked in private practice for small animal clinics as well as pet emergency hospitals. In 2005, she purchased this clinic in Montana, named it Animal Blessings Pet Hospital, and proceeded to do what she does best...provide exemplary care to many pets in need.

Dr. Kresher
Dr. Rebecca Kerscher was born and raised in Red Lodge, Montana. She first arrived in Missoula, Montana as an undergrad studying Wildlife Biology. Here she met her husband and promptly moved him to Fort Collins, Colorado where she attended Colorado State's College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2007. An equine internship took her to Littleton Equine Medical Center for 1 year of intense equine emergency management. She and her husband missed Montana and moved to Billings in 2008 where she focused on small animal medicine, surgery, and urgent care, practicing at a busy 24 hour care facility. A professional opportunity for her husband brought them happily back to Griz country and her to Animal Blessings Pet Hospital. Professionally, Dr. Kerscher enjoys exploring the best ways to keep your pet healthy through general wellness care, as well as soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She spends her personal time chasing after her two children, baking, hiking, running, and hopes to someday complete her kid's baby books despite that they are no longer babies!

Practice Manager
I am the Practice Manager here at Animal Blessings. My main job is to make sure Dr. Z and the staff have what they need to keep the clinic running smoothly. I am Dr. Z's sister and I am a horticulturalist by education, but a manager by career experience. After Dr. Z purchased this clinic in Montana, I moved here to help her with her children and her practice. Now I have two wonderful jobs...grower for Caras Nursery & Landscape and manager here at Animal Blessings where daily I get to witness the blessings our pets bring to our lives.
